SIP -Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) is a kind of investment scheme offered by mutual funds to investors, allowing them to invest using small periodically amounts instead of lump sums in his/her choice of mutual funds. The frequency of investment is usually weekly, monthly or quarterly. Mutual fund could be equrity, debt or gold. You can choose any type of mutual fund for SIP based on your risk, goal, duration and financial advisors's recommendation.
Accumulated Amount - Expected value of the investment after completion of investment period. This is typically your target amount that you want to accumulate for your investment goal.
Return Rate - This is expected annual return rate on your investment. This is typically taken from long term industry averages and varies based on type of mutual fund e.g equity, debt or gold funds. You have to enter an average rate to get better results.
Duration - Fixed period from the date of first SIP investment to the date of last SIP invesment.
Frequency - SIP investments are made at a periodic interval, frequency defines when do you want to make deposit e.g. every week, every month , every quarter.
SIP Amount - Equal amount to be investment for every SIP investment to achive your target accumulated amount in a fixed period.
